MARIA DEL MAR BALDARES DEL BARCO  (Member) born in England, United Kingdom in 1972, admitted in Costa Rica and in Spain.  Specializes in registration and litigation of Intellectual Property matters, particularly Community, international and national (Spanish and Costa Rican) trade marks; domain names,  and licenses.

She obtained her title in Law from the University of Costa Rica (1996) and from the University of Alicante (2003).  Graduated as Master in Intellectual Property, Copyrights, Designs and Information Society (Magister Lvcentinvs) from the University of Alicante, Spain in 2001. Member of the Costa Rican Bar, of the Alicante Bar, of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and member of the Board of the Magister Lvcentinvs Alumni Association.  Has  organizad and participated in numerous seminars and conferences in intellectual property issues in Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Ms. Baldares worked in IBM, Austria between 1997-1999.  She was the Special Modules and External Relations Coordinator of the Magister Lvcentinvs of the University of Alicante 2002-2004.  Lawyer and resident partner of the law Firm Zeiner & Zeiner in Alicante, Spain between 2004-2007.
